2. Our Aims and Objectives

Oakwood Supported Living Ltd aims to provide high-quality, person-centred supported living services that enable adults with learning disabilities to live as independently as possible in their own homes. 3. Service Model

  • 1:1 support packages: For individuals requiring dedicated support throughout the day
  • 2:1 support packages: For individuals with complex needs requiring two staff members
  • Shared support: For individuals who can safely share staff support with housemates
  • Waking night staff: Available at each property throughout the night

4. People We Support

We support adults aged 18 and over with learning disabilities, including those with:

  • Mild to moderate learning disabilities
  • Autism spectrum conditions
  • Associated physical health needs
  • Communication support needs
  • Behaviours that may challenge

We do not provide nursing care or support individuals whose primary need is for mental health crisis intervention, substance misuse treatment, or end-of-life care.

5. Staffing

Our staff team includes a Registered Manager, Deputy Manager, Senior Support Workers, and Support Workers. All staff complete comprehensive induction training including the Care Certificate, safeguarding, medication administration, positive behaviour support, and condition-specific training. We maintain safe staffing levels at all times and use familiar bank staff rather than agency workers wherever possible.

6. Quality Assurance

We are committed to continuous improvement and maintain robust quality assurance systems including regular audits, service user feedback mechanisms, staff supervision, and management oversight. We welcome inspection by CQC and work transparently with commissioners and families.
